St Georges Church has long standing and strong links with St George’s C of E Primary School, with Revd. Kevin Evans presently  being our Chair of Governors  with Mr Alan Talbot currently being on the Governing body as a Foundation Governor.
Pupils, staff and families enjoy a number of special services together at Church including Harvest, Christmas and Easter.
Revd. Kevin Evans is a regular visitor into school where he takes assemblies; reads stories to the children and supports with various events. The Church is used as a learning resource where children develop their own sense of the building and its varying aspects. Links are also made with Lichfield Cathedral. Art projects have been completed and children enjoy visiting this outstanding building.
